Women’s Ministries: “G.I.G.G.L.E.S.” Girlfriends Influenced by God to Grow, to Love, to Encourage, and to Serve

This is a ministry to, for and by women.  The ladies plan and host large group events, small group studies and prayer times.  Bible studies on Wednesdays and Thursday mornings, a Prayer Ministry, a Care Ministry, a Joy Box Visitation Ministry, and a Quilting Ministry are just some of the areas of activity for Gateway Fellowship’s Women’s Ministries.

Care Ministry

The care ministry works on discovering resources, when possible, to meet needs in our church family.  The ministry is also one of encouragement in times of hurt, sorrow, and need.

Quilting Ministry

Our “Peace by Piece” quilters are quite a prolific group. They have made and given away well over 500 quilts and lap throws to dialysis centers, New Life Pregnancy Center, women’s shelters, and our own members who were ill or had surgery.
If you are interested, you don’t have to know how to quilt, just have a willing heart and helpful hands.  The group meets in the church Fellowship Hall on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday and Wednesday mornings each month.   For information, call Carolyn Jenkins,    480-892-1011.
