Our Membership

Who are we?  - Red and yellow, black, brown and white is a good way to describe the diversity of Gateway Fellowship.  Our members are from many racial, economic and age groupings, as well as various religious backgrounds.  These involve people formerly of Catholic, Community Church, Jehovah’s Witness, Methodist, Mormon and Presbyterian traditions, and other Baptist Churches.  The age of the congregation ranges from birth through Senior Adult, while members’ educational experiences include those with a high school education and others who hold graduate and post graduate degrees.

Who Can You Be?

At Gateway we believe in showing love, acceptance and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.  Join us as we search for Biblical answers to who we as Christians can be.  Here are some examples:

bullet

A Person at peace - "In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. " Philippians 4:6-7.

bullet

A Person loved - "Because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions (sins) - it is by grace you have been saved." Ephesians 2:4-5

bullet

A Person forgiven - "Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another.  Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Colossians 3:13

bullet

A Person with a future - "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah
