Disaster
Relief Training
Training
classes are Friday, February 15th and Saturday, February 16th at First
Southern Baptist Church, 5230 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, Arizona
85253.
Volunteers
are the heart and soul of Arizona Disaster Relief.
Every
level of AZDR utilizes the skill, talents, & commitment of volunteers.
Volunteers assist in providing organizational leadership, conducting
training classes, supervising response sites, administering the disaster
operations center, & most importantly providing the front-line
ministry of disaster relief. Interested
volunteers must first complete the introductory course on Friday evening
the 15th, and then follow through on Saturday the 16th with the training
in the area(s) you wish to serve .
Areas
to serve are: Feeding Unit, Storm Recovery-Chainsaw, Storm Recovery-Mud
Out, Shower Unit, Chaplain, and Water Purification Systems. For

The
Church Net Conference is coming February 22 & 23rd at Skyline
Fellowship in Mesa, Arizona.

evening, will be exciting worship
with Dr. Ken Hemphill. Dr. Hemphill is the National Strategist for
empowering Kingdom Growth. This is a great opportunity for those
interested ministries. This will be followed on Saturday with relevant
teaching, quality relationships and encouragement for ministry.

Homeless
Outreach
The
youths homeless outreach ministry is Saturday, February 16th. We
will visit the homeless in Phoenix. We will be leaving the church at
9AM. Everyone is welcome to join us. Donations needed: toiletries,
clothing, blankets, snacks, etc for the homeless.
Children
in Action is joining the homeless outreach by having a blanket drive
through the month of March.
