You may become a member of Gateway Fellowship in one of the following ways:

     2.   Making a statement of faith that you have received Christ and have been

baptized by immersion in a church of similar faith.

     3.  Requesting a transfer of letter from another Baptist church.

How do I know if I’m a Christian?

God loves you, and has a purpose for your life. No matter what you have done, God loves you.  He has created you with a special purpose in mind.  The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Our sin stands in the way of God’s purpose – Because we have sinned, God’s plan is not being fulfilled in our lives, and we are separated from Him.  The Bible says, “ All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” and “ the wages of sin is death” Romans 3:23, 6:23.

God has provided a way back to Him – Because we have sinned, God’s plan is not being fulfilled in our lives, and we are separated from Him.  Jesus Christ died for our sin, “ Christ also died for sins once for all, the Just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God”. 1 Peter 3:18

We must respond in faith – A gift is never really ours unless we are willing to accept it.  It is not enough to know the facts about Jesus, we must turn from our sin and turn to Jesus.  Simply put, “ Who ever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13

If you would like to receive this forgiveness you may do so right now by sincerely praying to God the following prayer.

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and my sin separates me from You.  I believe You died to pay for my sin and You were raised from the dead to give me eternal life.  I want to turn from my sin and place my faith in You right now.  Please come into my life and be my Savior and Lord.  Show me how to live and help me to follow You always.  In Your name I pray.  Amen.

If you prayed this prayer today, please contact us by email or by calling 480-892-4711 to speak with one of our pastors.
